Bulk Handling and Conveying

Whitwick Engineering (Coalville), based in the UK are our partners in Canada.  Their focus in materials handling has been on rail and marine loading/unloading, in addition to industrial minerals and metals recycling systems.

Whitwick Engineering’s philosophy:

The first imperative of capital expenditure is that it absolutely must be successful and achieve expectations. It is also important that operating costs, through intelligent design, are made as low as possible. Much of Whitwick’s work comes from repeat business with loyal and long term customers who have repeatedly benefited from this positive experience of working with them during these past 30 years.

Whitwick has had extensive experience in handling and processing a wide range of materials including coal, cement, chemicals and a range of recycled materials. This has been achieved in a number of industry sectors including land-based quarrying, marine aggregate projects, ship loading and city-based rail fed depots.

Each materials handling project has its particular challenges. With Whitwick’s decades of experience, they are able to provide successfully engineered EPCM solutions that meet or exceed your design criteria.

Members of the team at Whitwick Engineering have a unique blend of world-class engineering expertise, along with many years of “hands on” experience in the field managing operations and indeed businesses similar to your own. This helps us to achieve a detailed understanding of your own goals and the issues you are faced within your own businesses.

Their client base includes British Gypsum, Cemex, Holcim, Hanson (Heidelberg), Lafarge and many other private and public companies within the UK and Europe.
