Portable Plants – Details

Custom Chassis and Plants

Penner & Lewis stock aggregate equipment for sale, however we also build portable chassis and plants, for crushing, screening & washing. Together with our two key manufacturers, we honestly believe that we offer some of the very best equipment in the industry: the best means designs and quality, which maximize performance and minimize operating costs. Both Don Penner and Budd Lewis have been building plants for more than 30 years.

Our partners

Nor-Tech

The owners of Nor-Tech have been in the rock crushing business for over 40 years, and therefore work hard and take great pride in continuously improving their designs while always focusing on quality. They also have one of the most modern painting facilities on the west coast.

Quality and design details

We firmly believe that quality, fit and finish preserves your investment, while superior design details help to reduce your costs.  Both help to make you more profitable.

Our cable routing is done professionally with safety in mind.
Screen cloth racks: we have developed many options on our plants offering you time saving ideas, all designed to make you more efficient.
Our optional baffle boards actually work. These save cleanup time, and help protect areas below the transfer points.
Our new surge bins carry standard vibrator mounting brackets. We also offer bolt-on vibrator brackets and vibrators – on our PIT SOLUTIONS page.
Wherever we can, we design in ‘confined space’ access doors, again for operator safety.
We do our best to offer lots of safe working space on our crushing plant catwalks.
Our 30 CY and larger surge bin drives use a 24″ D lagged head pulley AND a snub pulley. This increases drive efficiency & allows for less tension on the conveyor belt – increasing the life of the belt and splice.
N-T has a fully enclosed paint process, from steel shot-blasting to baking, and an OPTIONAL 2-part epoxy primer with Imron urethane enamel top coat.
